Do you need affordable childcare and education? We would love to look after your child.

We are non-profit and community owned and operated with all profits going back into the Centre. We offer low teacher to child ratios and all our staff are either trained and registered teachers or currently in training.  We provide early childhood education to give our children the knowledge, skills, abilities to be active life-long learners.  We hold a daily Over Fours Group with emphasis on developing social skills, and pre-reading and writing experiences. Our informal setting enables children, parents and staff to feel valued, respected and relaxed. What makes our early learning centre special:

  • Continuous care: We care for babies from three months to five year olds.
  • Qualified care: All of our staff are either trained and registered teachers or currently in training.
  • Low teacher to child ratio: Under 2's: 1 teacher to 3 children and Over 2's: 1 teacher to 8 children.
  • Small numbers: Our max role is 50, which means more personal attention and less exposure to illness.
  • Education: We follow your child's interests, and a free play programme based on Te Whariki.
  • Over Four Group: The main focus of the Over 4 Group is to provide a daily programme that extends on what children learn in the general programme at the Centre.  The main emphasis is developing the social skills that children will need along with pre-reading and writing experiences.
  • Socialisation: Your child will get lots of face time with other little ones to prepare for school and beyond.
  • Reliability: We are open from 8:15am-5:15pm weekdays to support a variety of our parent schedules.
  • We are non-profit and community owned and operated, offering a unique opportunity for community involvement. We work in partnership with whanau to ensure the holistic needs of children are met.
