KIA ORA F ROM THE KĀKĀ ROOM
Trip to Famlan Farm Park
Wow, what a fantastic time we had at Famlan. The children absolutely loved seeing all the animals and getting to feed them.
It was super-hot and we all cooled down with drinks of water under a tree, with chickens roaming beside us!
We thank the parent help as without them it wouldn’t have been possible

KIA ORA FROM THE PUKEKO ROOM
With Christmas quickly approaching there is a lot of excitement in the air, along with a lot of conversations about Santa and what the children want for Christmas.
We tried to ring Santa late last week, but he was busy, so we are aiming to ring him again this week and share with him our hopes and desires. The Christmas tree is up, which some of the children enjoyed decorating, and this will be added to over the next couple of weeks as the children craft some wonderland creations.
Some of the children will be using the old format of communicating with Santa by writing him a letter, but we will also incorporate the new age by sending emails and tracing Santa’s journey.
Christmas is such a fun and marvellous time for children to be creative and let their imaginations run wild. We look forward to growing this further over our final weeks together in 2019.
