TENA RA KOUTOU
(Greetings to you)

WELCOME
Haere mai ki (Welcome) to Harriet Campbell who joins us in the Kakas.

NEW STAFF MEMBER TANYKA MUGGERIDGE
Kia ora, my name is Tanyka and I am the new teacher in the Pukekos classroom. I am originally from Wales and moved to New Zealand with my family in 2004 before moving to Australia for five years (so my apologies if my accent is all over the show!) I have recently moved to Timaru from Christchurch with my partner Luke and our Border Collie Alfie. I love exploring new places and you may see me often out and about walking with Alfie.
I have been teaching for two and a half years and I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Creative Corner. It has been so wonderful getting to know all the children and their families over the past two weeks. For those I have already met it has been a pleasure talking with you, and for those I am yet to meet I look forward to getting to know you in the next coming weeks

ROBYN PEARCE FUNDRAISING EVENT

TRIKEATHON
The Fundraising Committee has decided to postpone the Trikeathon until February 2018 due to the already busy schedule with fundraising at the Centre.

WELCOME
Haere mai ki (Welcome) to Tanyka Muggeridge, our new teacher in the Pukekos. Please make yourself known to Tanyka.
Welcome also to Nixon Stoakes who joins Creative Corner in the Kakas.

FACEBOOK
You may have noticed that we have started to include some images of children in our posts on Facebook. Parents are asked on enrolment (or by survey if you have been here for a while!!) if you are happy for your child's image to be used on Facebook. Some parents are not happy for this, and we respect this decision and have made a note accordingly so that we are careful not to put images of these children up. Please note we will never use a child's last name in a post. If you are not sure what permission you have given or would like to discuss this further please see Amy or Kate.
Robyn Pearce Fundraising Event
Thank you to those supported this fundraiser, as well as staff and parents who prepared baking and helped at the afternoon and evening sessions. $670 was raised from this event.
