TENA RA KOUTOU
(Greetings to you)
FAREWELL
Poroporoaki (Farewell) to Parker Harris who leaves the Kakas.
BNZ CLOSED FOR GOOD DAY
CCELC are fortunate to have staff from the BNZ coming to do gardening at the Centre during their Closed for Good Day. Please make them feel welcome.
OLD READING GLASSES
Have you got any old reading glasses you don’t use? We would appreciate these to enhance imaginary play. Please drop off at the Centre.
UPDATE ON LAUREN AND ALAN
Alan is doing very well after his liver transplant. Leesa visited them both while in Auckland recently. They were overwhelmed with the generosity from CCELC and parents. Lauren is missing all the children and can’t wait to get back.
We are still running the raffle with lots of great prizes - $2.00 a ticket. Please support this fundraiser.
ADMINISTRATION UPDATE
Amy’s maternity leave is coming to an end shortly and we look forward to her return to Creative Corner on Monday, 4 September in her Manager’s role. Leesa will return to her usual position of Head Teacher in the Pukekos. Thanks Leesa for stepping up to the role in such a professional and competent manner.
FOR SALE BRAUN THERMOSCAN AND FILTERS
We have recently bought a new forehead thermometer. We have this available for sale for $40 which includes 2 packets of filters. Please see Kate or Leesa if you are interested in purchasing.
